Scalp Micropigmentation

Service Description
Scalp Micropigmentation is the process of creating pixels on the scalp using a Permanent Makeup Machine. Pigment is implanted to mimic the look of hair follicles where the hair is bald or thinning. It can also be used to cover up scars on the scalp where the hair no longer grows in due to follicle damage and trauma. In the case of women who are experiencing thinning hair, the pixels are laid out in a very concentrated and close pattern to create almost a solid powder fill appearance on the scalp. Using this process, I can create a more full or dense looking head of hair. It is important to understand that this isn’t going to regrow or thicken your actual hair, although on some, it has improved hair growth just due to the needle stimulation creating blood flow during the pigment implantation process. Thinning hair in women is often a subject that is not addressed openly, and this process addresses that by creating the illusion of thicker hair and helping women regain their confidence. Scalp Micropigmentation is done in three sessions. The first session is to lay the pattern foundation and check the color for adjustment after healing. The second session is to confirm original color selection and adjust if needed and then to create density by filling in the foundation that was laid out in the first session. The third session is for a final touch up and checking the color retention.
